I have a blackjack at at&t, can I get the iPhone and transfer the deal on my old phone to the iPhone?

The iPhone has its own sim card, so you cant transfer the contacts. But if you have contacts in your email such as yahoo, the iPhone syncs all these contacts with the phone through itunes.
