Why do my ovaries hurt? I'm not pregnant.?

Ok so, I have a real nasty cold, which I thought was bronchitis at first, but then I started sneezing majorly today. I've been on my period for 2 weeks now, but I think it's coming to an end finally. Also today, when I cough my ovaries hurt, or at least that general area hurts. There is no way in hell that I'm pregnant because I'm still a virgin. Anyone know what's going on?
