My animals won't stop going the bathroom in the house ! ?

I have 2 cats , 1 kitten & 1 dog, and only one of the animals actually uses the litter instead of pooping all over the house. I havea cat genie ( basically a toliet for cats but with litter like material) and my new kitten was going in it , but then it started pooping behind my toliet like my other cat . I'm not sure if its influenced my my other cat going there thats why my kitten does , but its everyday and its driving me crazy!!!!! Not to mention my dog likes to poop in the bathroom and my spare bedroom!!!! I have no idea what to do ! I tried clean the area and putting odd smells to distract them from their own , but its not working and im seriously at my whits end! I cant get rid of any of them so thats not an option . Does anyone know anything that can stop this disaster?
