What is the name of this bird?

A friend found a nest that is made amost exclusively of string and fiber. It is shaped like a pouch and it dangles like a pouch from a branch. He thinks it could be called a weaver finch, but I can't find any particulars, can anyone help with some pictures, references, etc?
